Paradise Twp. is one of 60 municipalities (41 townships and 19 boroughs) in Lancaster County which you can see at www.co.lancaster.pa.us We are very happy that our own Township Supervisor/Roadmaster Dennis Groff served last year as Chair of the Board of the Lancaster County Planning Commission and continues to serve as Vice-Chair of the Board.
Paradise Twp. residents Ginny Ranck, Charles Rohrer, and Vernon Wright serve on the Board of Directors, along with six other Directors from Salisbury Twp and Leacock Twp., of the Pequea Valley School District www.pequeavalley.org.
Paradise Twp. supports the Pequea Valley Public Library: 717-768-3160 www.intercourse.lib.pa.us. The Library System of Lancaster County promotes a Health Information Network.
Paradise Twp. has a Sportman's Association that meets frequently at a spacious site at 327 South Belmont Road, and currently has over 667 members. See the web site: www.paradisesportsmansassn.com.
Paradise Twp. has a food pantry coordenated by Karen Homsher from the Leacock Presbyterian Church, 687-6619, in cooperation with the Bible Fellowship Church of Paradise, Grace Point Church of Paradise, and St. Johns United Methodist Church of Paradise. The food pantry provides nutritious food from local donations, and from receipts from the Church World Service CROP Hunger Walk.
Christ's Home for Children is on an 11-acre estate in the middle of Paradise just off Rt. 30, a residential facility that serves the region.
